Meaning
Water collects over the earth, and the hexagram is gathering: people coming together round a centre. Its Judgment begins at the ancestral temple, "the king will repair to his ancestral temple", in Legge's English, and adds that it is advantageous to meet the great man and to make great offerings. The Image is practical: the superior man keeps his weapons in repair, because a crowd that has gathered can be surprised.
Human Design places gate 45 from 17°00′ to 22°37′30″ Gemini, in the Throat centre, which the system ties to expression and action. Its one channel runs to gate 21 in the Heart; the school names it Money, and we print the name only. The pair is in the Ego circuit of the school's Tribal group.
The engine names the gate The Gatherer; the Definitive Book, as the pyhd tables record it, has Gatherer without the article, and Jovian's own pages use The Gatherer. We read the gate, in our own words, as the voice that brings people together and the responsibility that goes with it. The hexagram ties gathering to two things, a centre worth gathering round, the temple and the great man, and the care to protect what has been gathered. Joined to gate 21, biting through, the gate can be read as a group held together by someone willing to take charge of its affairs.

falseWhat the record shows: The wheel is Ra Uru Hu's arrangement: Shao Yong's 11th-century circle of the 64, rotated so that hexagram 41 starts at 2° Aquarius. No Chinese source ties a hexagram to degrees of the zodiac.
