Meaning
Wind blows over water and the water scatters: the tradition reads the hexagram as dispersal, the breaking up of what had hardened, ice melting in spring, a crowd's divisions dissolved. Its Judgment brings the scattered together again at a centre: "The king goes to his ancestral temple", in Legge's English, and it will be advantageous to cross the great stream. The Image has the ancient kings make offerings and found temples, gathering what dispersal has loosened.
Human Design places gate 59 from 0°07′30″ to 5°45′ Virgo, in the Sacral centre, the motor the system ties to working and life-force energy. Its one channel runs to gate 6 in the Solar Plexus; the school names the channel Mating and the gate Sexuality. The pair is one of the two channels of what the school calls the Defense circuit, in its Tribal group.
We read the gate, in our own words, as the drive to break down what keeps people apart: the wish to come close, which works by dissolving a barrier rather than forcing it. The hexagram's dispersal is followed by gathering, and so the gate can be read as closeness that loosens one boundary in order to make a new bond. At the channel's other end gate 6, friction, is the boundary itself. The gate's name is the school's; we read it as a figure of closeness between people.
Opposite gate 59 on the wheel is gate 55, abundance, and the school names the Right Angle Cross of the Sleeping Phoenix from 59 and 55 with 20 and 34.

falseWhat the record shows: The wheel is Ra Uru Hu's arrangement: Shao Yong's 11th-century circle of the 64, rotated so that hexagram 41 starts at 2° Aquarius. No Chinese source ties a hexagram to degrees of the zodiac.
