Meaning
Five whole lines rise against a single broken one at the top: the last obstacle before a breakthrough. The hexagram is resolution, and the tradition is careful about how it is made. The Judgment calls for the matter to be proclaimed openly, with "a sincere and earnest appeal", in Legge's English, and warns against taking up arms. The Image has the lake risen above heaven, about to pour down, and the superior man distributing his gifts to those below rather than letting them pile up.
Human Design places gate 43 from 18°52′30″ to 24°30′ Scorpio, in the Ajna centre, which the system ties to the conceptual mind. Its channel, which the school names Structuring, runs to gate 23 in the Throat, the centre of expression in its terms; the pair is in the Knowing circuit of the Individual group.
The engine names the gate Insight. We read it, in our own words, as knowing that comes suddenly, breaking through what was in the way. The hexagram's caution belongs to it: a breakthrough announced with force meets resistance, and one stated plainly and sincerely is heard. At the channel's other end gate 23 is the stripping away, and the two hexagrams are each other's lines flipped; read together they can be taken as an insight and its simplification, the new idea cut down to what can be said.
Opposite gate 43 on the wheel is gate 23, its channel partner, and the school names the Right Angle Cross of Explanation from 43 and 23 with 4 and 49.

Gate 43 covers 5°37′30″ of the zodiac, from 18°52′30″ to 24°30′ Scorpio, the 52nd gate counting from gate 41. In 2026 the Sun passes through it from 11 November to 16 November, and within a day of those dates in other years. Each of its six lines covers 56′15″:

Gate 43's place on the zodiac, 18°52′30″ to 24°30′ Scorpio, is where the I Ching itself puts hexagram 43.
falseWhat the record shows: The wheel is Ra Uru Hu's arrangement: Shao Yong's 11th-century circle of the 64, rotated so that hexagram 41 starts at 2° Aquarius. No Chinese source ties a hexagram to degrees of the zodiac.

The Ajna centre, where gate 43 sits, is an organ or gland, and the gate tells something about the body.
unverifiedWhat the record shows: The centre's name is a name. The schools' pairing of the centres with organs and glands, taken from the chakra books of the 1920s, has no physiological correspondence that anyone has shown, and we never read a gate or a centre as the body or its health.
