Meaning
Wind goes out from fire: the warmth of a hearth spreading through a house. The hexagram is the family, and its lines are the household's places, each in its right position. The Judgment's short sentence, in Legge's English, is that what is most advantageous is "that the wife be firm and correct", a line from its age about roles in the house. The Image is more general and more useful: the superior man's words have substance and his conduct is consistent, because a household is held together by what is said and done in it.
Human Design places gate 37 from 5°45′ to 11°22′30″ Pisces, in the Solar Plexus centre, the motor the system ties to emotion. Its channel, which the school names Community, runs to gate 40 in the Heart, the motor it ties to will; the pair is in the Ego circuit of the school's Tribal group.
The engine names the gate Friendship. We read it, in our own words, as the warmth that holds people together, and the fairness that keeps the warmth from being used up: each in their place, each doing their share. The hexagram's household is a model of a bond, and the tradition is clear that it rests on conduct rather than sentiment. Joined to gate 40, the release, which the engine names Aloneness, the gate can be read as closeness that also respects when someone needs to step away.
Opposite gate 37 on the wheel is gate 40, its channel partner: one of the few channels whose two gates face each other across the circle. The school names a cross, Planning, from 37 and 40 with 9 and 16.

unverifiedWhat the record shows: The centre's name is a name. The schools' pairing of the centres with organs and glands, taken from the chakra books of the 1920s, has no physiological correspondence that anyone has shown, and we never read a gate or a centre as the body or its health.
