Your birth card is set by your birth date alone: its solar value is 55 less twice the month and the day, counted through the pack from the Ace of Hearts (1) to the King of Spades (52), so 1 January gives the King of Spades and 31 December the Joker. The year never changes the birth card.
Enter your birth date to see your birth card, its place in the Life Spread with your life path outlined, your ruling and karma cards, and the cards of your year from your last birthday.
About Cardology
Your birth card in Cardology is set by your birthday alone: 19 January gives the Eight of Diamonds, in the crown line of the Life Spread, and from that place the chart draws your life path, your ruling and karma cards and your current year in seven periods of 52 days.
The arithmetic and the spreads are Olney H. Richmond's, from The Mystic Test Book of 1893; the readings of the cards as character follow the modern line of Randall and Campbell (1947) and Robert Lee Camp (1992 onward).
How we compute it
Olney H. Richmond's quadration and layout (The Mystic Test Book, 1893) for the spreads; the life path, ruling, karma and yearly cards by the conventions Robert Lee Camp popularised. Without a birth time, if the Sun changed sign during your birth day, you are given both signs' ruling cards.
Birth card by date
Every day of the year with its birth card, worked out by our engine from the solar value: 55 less twice the month and the day, the arithmetic of Olney H. Richmond's rule of 1893. The year of birth makes no difference.
