Free Gene Keys profile

Your Gene Keys profile is your Human Design chart read in Richard Rudd's order: the Sun, Earth, Venus, Mars and Jupiter at your birth and again at the moment the Sun stood 88° of longitude earlier, with the Moon at that second moment, each read as one of the 64 I Ching hexagrams and its line, written as key.line. It needs your birth date, time and place, and contains no genetics.

Enter your birth date, time and place to see the Gene Keys profile of your chart, after Richard Rudd: its thirteen rows in three groups, each with its key and line, every key named by its hexagram and three words of our own, written from the Chinese text. Rudd's own words and titles are not used.

About Gene Keys profile

A Gene Keys profile is eleven positions of a Human Design chart, each read as one of the 64 I Ching hexagrams and its line and set out in thirteen rows in three groups: the Sun, Earth, Venus, Mars and Jupiter at birth and again when the Sun stood 88 degrees of longitude earlier, about three months before, and the Moon at that second moment. For 19 January 1989 the first row reads 60.4, hexagram 60 at its fourth line; Rudd reads each key at three bands, the Shadow, the Gift and the Siddhi, which we give in our own words.

Rudd published the system in 2009; its language of genes and DNA is his metaphor, the calculation astronomy read on the I Ching's 64 hexagrams.

How we compute it

The Human Design astronomy: thirteen bodies at birth and at the moment the Sun stood 88° of longitude earlier, tropical, true node, from NASA JPL's DE440s; each read on the 64-hexagram wheel with hexagram 41 at 2° Aquarius; the rows as the school's own table assigns them. The place matters only through its time zone. The genes in the name are Rudd's metaphor; the calculation has none.
