Life Path 2, which we call the Peacemaker, is one of the twelve Life Path numbers drawn from a birth date, and the modern school reads it as cooperation, tact and partnership. Only one sum reaches it, 20, because 11, 29, 38 and 47 stop at the master number 11, so it falls on just 5.0 percent of days from 1900 to 2099, the fewest of the single digits.

Meaning

The modern school reads the Life Path 2 as a life learnt through other people: cooperation, tact, patience and a sense of timing. Its gifts are noticing what everyone else missed and making a group work; its difficulties are indecision, oversensitivity and avoiding the conflict that needs to happen. Decoz pictures the peacemaker with an artistic side; Cheiro, describing those born on the 2nd, 11th, 20th and 29th, saw them as gentle, imaginative and inventive, but less forceful than the 1.

Agrippa's chapter on two is less gentle. Two is the first number to leave unity, so it stands for generation, memory, marriage and society, and equally, he reports, for division and discord. The modern 2 kept the partnership and set the discord aside.

That is why the 2 is rare for a single digit: 3,650 days in 73,049 from 1900 to 2099 (5.0 percent), and 1,704 in 36,525 from 1926 to 2025 (4.67 percent). A calculator that adds every digit in a row, or that keeps no master numbers, sends many of the 11s to 2 instead and so finds far more 2s. Under the school's reading the master number 11 is the 2 heightened: a 2 that the arithmetic stopped one step early.

The planet line, as history

Agrippa's remainder rule gives the Moon to two and to seven, and Heydon, Sepharial and Cheiro kept the Moon for 2. Cheiro then gave 7 to Neptune and described his 2s and 7s as a pair. None of these writers read a Life Path; the planet is attached to the name's total in Agrippa and to the day of birth in Cheiro.
